Canada folds to Trump's demands and strikes $3 billion border deal

'I just had a good call with President Trump,' he posted on X.

'Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan—reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl.

'Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.'

It comes after Trump at the weekend announced he was preparing to slap 25 percent tariffs on imports from north of the border.

You are all an embarrassment to the Founding Fathers and founding principles of our Nation to "provide and support the common good."

Words like "deportations", "purges", and "ideology eliminated" - those words belong beside "Final Solution", "dictatorship", "gulag" and "concentration camp", not in America.

FYI - DOGE isn't a an actual government department and they can't save billions, because Congress controls the purse strings, not Elon Musk with his Nazi salutes or even Stephen Miller with grandiose plans and his little hand signals to the white supremiscists.

What is ACTUALLY happening is much akin to delusional people on the corner telling us the world is coming to an end, but we are all pretty sure it will be here tomorrow. You'll break some windows, shout your slogans, and then the police will cart you off - either to prison or a graveyard.

The next is that I doubt you will muster up the intestinal fortitude to die for DOGE, MAGA, Trump or Musk - and they surely won't die for you when they can hide in a bunker or jet off to a non-extradition country. What good is grifting on the scale they are currently are without getting to spend the money they took from you mooks?

Get off your comie white horse. The founding fathers never envisioned income tax, much less than 30%-50% when you add in state and local income taxes.

Income taxes were created to help finance the Civil War, long after the founding fathers. For World War I, the highest tax rate was 7%, which was to finance the war.

Then the commie liberals have increased it to upwards of 40%-50% when you include state and local taxes. The founding fathers never envisioned over taxation, and certainly never envisions taxing citizens to provide charity to the rest of the world. The history of income tax was to pay for wars, not charity.
