reading that article from 2020, it was conventional wisdom at the time and turned out to be wrong. Basically said to ignore and silence Trump. The problem with that is as time went on, not hearing Trumps idiocy every day, people began to normalize him and long for the pre Covid days of normalcy while forgetting about all of the Trump jackassery.
