His mental capability is rapidly deteriorating. Makes one wonder if he will even be able to talk by November.

Perhaps we'll get a debate in the fall and the two of them will just stare and mumble at each other. Maybe shake a cane in the air once in awhile.

Next comes the call to prosecute the " real" insurrectionists i.e. Pelosi or anyone else he does not like.

The mental acuity debate is funny, it’s like comparing someone with brain damage to someone with Alzheimer’s. Neither should be in charge of getting dinner, let alone the country.

Biden's a sympathetic, well meaning, elderly man with a poor memory who can't remember his time as VP. :emoji_joy:

    Giving off Cheddar Bob vibes.

Cheddar Bob was a character in the 8 Mile movie who pulls out a gun to act tough then shoots himself by accident when he tries to put it back in his pants

Said a person who apparently falls within the definition of the condition described in the article. Trump lost the 2020 presidential election and it was one of the most secure in history. Get over it. Although neither made any difference in the end, do you think that Trump won the popular vote in the 2016 general election or that Ted Cruz only won that Iowa caucuses that year through fraud? According to Trump he won both the general election and the caucuses.

reading that article from 2020, it was conventional wisdom at the time and turned out to be wrong. Basically said to ignore and silence Trump. The problem with that is as time went on, not hearing Trumps idiocy every day, people began to normalize him and long for the pre Covid days of normalcy while forgetting about all of the Trump jackassery. People now are finally getting a flavor for it again, and don’t like it. Only problem the alternative is the current president who is perceived as old and feeble.

It stood out how maga didn’t even consider another Repub candidate. This article is helpful in understanding trump followers and what motivates them.

“So the narcissistic connection between Trump and his supporters is a bond that is irrational and incredibly strong. It is rooted in the illusion of shared grandiosity and superiority. It promises a paradise of contentment and comfort, where all questions about life are answered. And that explains why their connection is so difficult to disrupt. Trump and his supporters are mutually invested in maintaining their collective narcissism at all cost.”

What I can't understand about the whole insurrection thing is, if thousands of people have been arrested for some Jan 6th insurrection how come not a single person has been charged with
    18 U.S. CODE § 2383?

MAGA zealots have been telling me it wasn’t an insurrection, but now their leader admits it was. Have MAGA zealots been lying to us this whole time?
