Trump administration rescinds NYC congestion pricing approval

Apparently New Jersey was suing over this as well, so the Trump admin sided with NJ. Secretary Duffy commented on how it was a slap in the face to working class Americans and small business owners.

If we are rerunning the Guilded Age, I suppose we have to have our Lochner cases too. Anyways, RIP local and state governance. Federal nullification power is back, baby!

So the states must have the right to tell a woman what she can decide about her reproductive decisions, but not her automobile? OK?

And so we can wrap up the story of the American Revolution. A nice little run, but now the president is favorably calling himself a king.

Still disrespectful to those who fought a war to rid the country of a king. The founders would bitch slap him for that. (awllll he was just kidding, gimme a break)

I have mixed feelings about the plan however I always thought that under our system of federalism the federal government shouldn't interfere in what's normally a state function.

I'd be interested to hear you explain what you mean.

So that I could get an even bigger laugh out of the fact that you don't have a clue what the term "sanctuary city" even means.

    Please?

I thought these were tolls on city streets? How can the federal government have control over that?
