So if an illegal immigrants simply says "I want to be a citizen," you have no problem with allowing them to engage in the process?

And what rule, specifically, is violated by writing an Op-ed that is critical of Israel?

if they came here illegally then if they self deport and come back the legal way I am fine with that- if they come here illegally and try to circumvent the rules then I would close the door on them - I am not a fan of giving illegals amnesty- we have done it in the past and it never works out for the US, as it just encourages more to come here illegally. Had Biden done his job we would not be having this issue.

Okay, so should Melania and Elon have self-deported? Because the reason that they were allowed to become citizens was because the government didn't catch them misusing their visas (the student Visa after Elon left school and started working and the tourist visa for Melania while she worked).

well if your facts are correct then they should have been booted but since they weren't and are now citizens your point is moot.

    * As long as that lawbreaker is pro-MAGA. MAGAs who break the law can even be President. This has been clear for years.

Because they would have to do so. The government asks about your previous visa history and whether you missed them. They did.

Melania Trump first came to the US on vacation. She was here legally, but she was only supposed to visit. It was later revealed she was paid for 10 modeling jobs while still on her vacation visa. She later got a work visa, but the 10 jobs before broke the law.

Similarly, Musk came here in a student Visa. When he dropped out of school, he should have left the country. He didn't. Instead, he started his first company before he got his work Visa.

As for Abrego Garcia, he did enter undocumented. But he entered unaccompanied as a minor. Therefore, before deportation, he was entitled an immigration hearing, which he got in 2019. The judgement from this hearing ruled it would be dangerous to deport AG back to El Salvador, and have him LEGAL right to be in the US. At the time AG was abducted by ICE and deported, he was a LEGAL immigrant.

This is why the Supreme Court has ordered AG's return.

The whole ordeal raises some serious questions. Like, why is it acceptable for Trump to ignore a court protection and deport a legal migrant without due process? Why should AG be sent to a prison? There has been no trial, let alone conviction, and according to the law, AG was here legally and should be considered innocent until proven guilty. Prisons holding persons indefinitely without due process are concentration camps.

It isn't speculation. The form needed to convert status (I-485) specifically asks two questions as means by which to deny a green card. One is "Have you ever worked in the US without authorization?" Both Melania and Elon did. Second, "Have you ever violated the terms or conditions of your nonimmigrant status?" Again, obvious answer here is yes for both due to the work that was not authorized.

    https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-485.pdf

That is the joy of immigration law. They both had to lie on that form, invalidating every step that came after it.

There's no point in going back and forth with Bill. He's okay with setting aside the Constitution if it means we can get rid of all of the " illegals "

Multiple outright lies. For example, that he was arrested with drugs (he was not). No judge has determined gang membership.

No, we say things that are purposefully untrue are lies. Let me ask you this: if he was arrested with drugs, what specific drugs did he possess and in what quantity? Be specific or admit that you lied.

First, AG was not here illegally. He got a protection order from a judge in 2019. Saying he was illegal is an outright lie, and why the Supreme Court, 9-0, ordered the Trump administration to bring him back.

Second, if AG was found with drugs on him, why no charges? Ever? Please explain.

Last, why does Trump, the POTUS, get to determine guilt and punishment? Isn't that the role of the judicial branch?
