    New Forbes poll out today. Trump leads Harris by 6 points nationally. Slightly larger gap than existed with Biden.

    The elephant in the room is that Trump is virtually unbeatable now with the assassination attempt and his handling of said assassination attempt. It has humanized him to many. Add to that Haley’s endorsement. Trump will probably score 95 percent of the GOP vote due to Kamala’s extremely progressive voting record. Turn out will be thick. He’s going to be hard to beat no matter who they put up against him.

    Ya that will help but let's not pretend like she is popular.

    She doesn't have the best of record to run on and Bidens last 4 years with inflation and immigration is something she also has to answer to.

    Just my opinion, Dems don't have enough time to right this ship and are just sacrificing Harris.

    Correct. She’s never gone through a primary and she is the sacrificial lamb. That is the correct move given the circumstances. Retool for 2028.

    Any other candidate for republicans and I agree - but trump really motivates dem voters unlike no candidate I’ve ever seen lol. Biden as a candidate probably would have lost to any other Republican candidate in my life time in the 2020 election.

    The most recent Georgia poll and the first one totally sampled after Biden withdrew has Trump up by one percent over Harris.

    Harris may not be popular with Repubs, but she is damn popular with Democrats, women, minorities, voters under 30, never-Trumpers and any group that has been marginalized by the MAGA movement. They may not answer pollsters, but THEY WILL VOTE.
