    Hot take,

I am against any religious component in Government. Even the prayer breakfasts make me cringe. They ultimately become a clique and litmus test for a power base.

Government and religion are both powerful factors for controlling the masses. They shouldn’t ever be integrated. Why, the history of the world.

Keep the State out of the Church as far as I’m concerned.

I think religion is a good thing right up to the point people get involved inserting their point of view called “Church Doctrine.” You can see the desperation in religious leaders by how hard they’re working to make religious doctrine and government the same by making it the law of the land. It works so well in Muslim countries where women are banned from getting an education and can be murdered by their husbands for showing their hair.

Of course not to be outdone in the United States has its own way of showing their Christian love by bombing abortion clinics, murdering and imprisoning the medical community, and their favorite which is dragging a gay man behind a pickup truck while shouting “God hates gays!”

Again religion is fine unless people get involved. However If you’re one of those people who show up at people’s homes, sits beside people on a park bench or airplane seats, and can’t help but drone on about what the Lord has done for you, I am morally obligated to say I’m happy for you but shut the hell up keep it out of our lives.

The media used to love bombing abortion clinics (when it was a thing). The killing outside the clinics were a welcome distraction from the killing going on inside the clinics.

I don't why anyone should be shocked. Paula White is a media celebrity with a history of supporting Trump. Trump used the same criteria in selecting his Secretary of Defense so it shouldn't be all the surprising in the selection of his "Faith Advisor".

Classic Paula White from Trump's 2020 Campaign.

Planned Parenthood alone kills over 365000 babies every year- Since 1977, there have been 11 murders, 42 bombings, 200 arsons, 531 assaults, 492 clinic invasions, 375 burglaries

    hardly a fair comparison

This is what you get when crazy politics and crazy religion collide. Perhaps a medical intervention?

true to form, the grifter selects a blond he would assault in a dressing room who preaches prosperity gospel for a mega church in Florida is the new head of the WH Faith Office.

seems like it might of upset a few of the more conservative evangelical groups but he is a man who can appreciate a good grift.

Trump Enrages Christian MAGA By Naming ‘Heretic’ Pastor to White House

The president signed an executive order establishing a White House Faith Office and chose Pastor Paula White-Cain, his ally and spiritual advisor, to lead it. White-Cain, 58, is a megachurch preacher from Florida who has endorsed biblical interpretations that some evangelical Christians believe go too far.

She is a proponent of “prosperity theology,” which teaches that God rewards the truly faithful with material wealth and personal success. Critics say that by blaming financial woes on a lack of faith, prosperity theology can be used to exploit vulnerable churchgoers. Many Christians consider it a form of heresy, according to The New York Times.

Some of Trump’s Christian MAGA supporters took to social media to express their disappointment in the president’s pick.

“Even though President Trump is enforcing laws that line up with our values, that doesn’t mean he has any clue what biblical Christianity is or why it matters,” Christian podcast host John Mason wrote on X. “Paula White is a known heretic and known false teacher who has no regard for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Let’s face it. The least important job is Trump’s spiritual adviser. It’s like worrying about Ray Charles eye doctor.

The Florida Senate found her and her husband (1 of 3) guilty of spending millions of tax-exempt church money for a jet, salaries for relatives, and a waterfront mansion. She is so going to fit in the Trump White House.

Ignore the fact he chose this heretic for the position. How about the fact he signed an EO to establish a White House Faith Office? Something something separation of church and state

This is another one of those MAGA “tear down houses’ of American secular ideal. They don’t believe the Establishment Clause constrains the nation to a secular ideal, only limits the establishment of a national religion. The favoring of one over another, or non at all, is really the insidious plot. The favoring of Christianity is 100% the plot.
