Season one is a classic. Edge of your seat stuff. The rest haven’t come close to matching it.

So far Season 4 feels like it takes place in the same universe as The Thing.

Wow. It sounds like people spend a lot of time (and money) subscribing to all these channels. Being old-fashioned (and relatively poor), I'll stick with YouTubeTV, that's newfangled (and expensive) enough for me. For movies I'll depend on Turner Classic Movies, even if it means rewatching them. (Watched Psycho again last night. I knew almost every line but it still held my attention - that is, till that windbag psychologist at the end, who spends ten minutes explaining what we've seen. Hitchcock, how could you do that?)

NBC and the NFL tried to force me to subscribe to Peacock in order to watch a playoff football game. Thanks a lot. I'll be watching CBS or ABC for my evening news now instead of NBC with Lester Holt, who I watched for years.

Surprised but pleased that you outed yourself, lol. Maybe at some point you can disclose some secrets, such as why "Ferris Buehler's Day Off" clip of all things? Was there a specific intention with showing the book "Blood Meridian" in Episode 1? I really enjoyed Moonlight and look forward to checking out your other work. Also hope the guys can get you on the GNFP in the off season or next season!

    :)

I want to read the thread and welcome honesty but OOOF too hot can be BRUTAL so this seemed like the moment. And I appreciate the kind words on Moonlight.

As for the Night Country Easter Eggs, that's all on the show runner Issa -- she has a reason for EVERYTHING. Though not a tidy explanation within the show if that makes sense :emoji_sunglasses:

    We'll see about GNFP....

Anyone seen Monsieur Spade on AMC? Now that's a true detective.

Haha, I was gonna tell you it was here but didn’t want to be responsible if it went south. So far so good though.

Waited until after the NFC Championship Game to watch episode 3. Excellent. I do wish I could binge it and I have so many questions about life on the ice.

True Detective S1 is some of the best TV you'll ever see. Matthew M. and Woody H. gave amazing performances.

S3 was really good too, Mahershala Ali did a marvelous job juggling 3 different characters in various eras.

S2 had its moments but was uneven. There was so much pressure on it to follow up the S1 masterpiece.

Gonna wait for S4 to end so I can binge watch, I hate having to wait a week for a new episode.
