Did I miss something from earlier in the game? At about the 7:20-7:30 mark (time left in 1H), Appleby is guarding Williams (#11 Troy). Key gets up off the bench and is basically right behind Williams shouting something right next to Williams. When Williams stepped out, Key was definitely saying something to Williams right at that point.

Then around 12:30 to go in the 2nd half was the hard foul from Williams on Appleby. Neither player played the rest of the game.

I didn't notice anything that warranted the level of animosity that arose. Just curious if there was a known history between those two players.

Not sure about any history. The Troy player was apparently jawing to an unacceptable extent, as it drew a T and Keyontae's attention. I don't think any of us know Keyontae to be one to get up and confront a player off the bench, but he sure did today. Some of that might be pent up frustration from not being able to compete. The hard foul, though, suggests that it may have been more a matter of the Troy player's indiscretion.
