It's official: the new car smell is gone off this coaching staff. Even worse is someone child-locked the windows and dropped ass and we are all breathing it in.

Some truth in this statement. We have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. The players do, because they deal with it everyday.

Could be the "process" is a clusterxxxx

I agree and I really don't believe any of this "I don't want to be RB2" stuff that's out there. Kid was always getting his touches.

I read this and thought DAMN, he didn’t pull any punches. There is some truth in what he is saying because we don’t have the horses to run the offense Billy wants to run, and we don’t see much adjustment to match the personnel we do have. We don’t have the personnel to cram everyone in the box and execute, yet Billy loves running 12 personnel.

With the way the season ended, we needed something such as a splash/momentum play to begin the offseason, yet nothing is happening to change the momentum/perspective surrounding the program. We fire two coaches 12 days ago and it has been crickets so far about their replacements.

he may feel slighted because he was not listed as number one and all that crap. But I think he just wants to go get on a good team that is loaded and be the favorites to win. I would have more respect for him if he just said so. I would not admire him as much as I admire the guys that do stay and fight with their brothers, but it is what it is. It’s kind of like urban Meyer, as soon as the going gets tough, he runs out the door.

I'm not seeing anyone hating on transfers, except insofar as they claim "Gator for life" while leaving. It's also absurd to claim that 7 "rode the bench," so not putting much stock in this opinion.

We will see how well Norvell coaches in the Orange Bowl....theyre a better team now but lets see what a their first top 10 team in a few years does when they play.

I doubt they could’ve beaten Georgia with Travis, and now they don’t have him. Neither team is going to be truly motivated and both are going to have players opted out. It’s not really the same thing as meeting in the playoffs at full strength.

It is exceedingly apparent that as a player you can only shine to the extent that your skill set matches Napier's intended offense. Napier is either unwilling or unable to adapt his playcalling to suit anything outside his system.

In another day and age this might not be a problem. Today it is a recipe for disaster.

The coaches who succeed in this new environment are going to be nimble and adaptive.

Its not really a fair comparison without their starting QB. He was one of the top QB's in the country. I still think UGa would have won, in that scenario, but I bet Travis would have given the Nolies a shot.

Silberman was 2013ish? How would he know more than any of the other former gators being 10 years removed from the program.

It’s a totally different environment than when he was in college. Granted, there could be some truth but seems more like opinion than any inside knowledge.

I don’t want to go on a trip with him driving. If he drives like he does everything else he would almost get up to the speed limit……..and then take his foot off the gas and try to coast to his destination.

We weren’t the only program that lost out on Seaton. I think Alabama and or Georgia recruited him too. Reckon the sky is falling there too.
We have still got a lot of talent committed in the incoming class and hopefully if they read Swamp Gas they realize that there are negative people on sites other than UF forums.
