Looking at tourist tax only can be driven higher by inflation of hotel rooms.

I think they're one of the few that is gonna get streaming right. Their catalog grows weekly and the Disney/ESPN/Hulu live thing will be the game changer when they truly make it happen

 

Well, if any folks don’t want to vacation in or otherwise travel to Florida ….. I understand the “Jersey shore” is a lot of fun. We can do with fewer people.

 

Has nothing to do with the theme park in Orlando which was the point of the Orlando tax revenue of Disney tourism that was posted, yes? Disney streaming doesn't help Orlando tax revenue, unless you believe otherwise.

Either way, DIS was up almost $35 from it's low and most of the drop today was from the loss in its exit in India sports because of cricket. The upswing and failed opinion of 95 is still relevant.

Their overall streaming had a profit of $47M, their first streaming profit ever, a far cry from the $587M loss a year prior.

So is Puerta Rico. Cheaper to fly there from Chicago than to South Walton County, which is where we used to vacation. Only reason for me to come to Florida is to see family or watch the Gators play.

I wonder if the ESPN dropoff is just the seasonal thing with most sports being done and people not wanting to pay for it until college football gets going again
