Why would Marcos dad have any impact on Marco starting? I’ve seen others say this and don’t get it

 

Chad Wilson is a big time defensive back coach / trainer in south Florida. I think Chad is a UM alum yet still sent both Marco and Quincy to uf. This may not be totally the reason but it may have at least played a part. I tend to believe the stories u hear about threatening to opt by some of the upper classman and that may have leveraged the coaches decisions. But who fn knows. I just know the decisions that were made were an epic failure

if upperclassmen leveraged their way into starting by threatening to opt out then that’s a fireable offense for the staff. That’ll create a never ending cycle

what do you think we do without our dudes at receiver? You like me and think we can win with Whit, Shorter, Henderson, Wells, Gamble, and Zip?

I say we can still win but need 6-7 catches from our backs ( one long ball on a wheel to Malik).

With Wilson opting out of the Cotton Bowl to prepare for the draft, I would say that it a little addition by subtraction. I don't blame him for wanting to get away from Gainesville, after the year he had. He probably would be better served hitting the portal and trying to show out somewhere else. He can't possibly be happy with what he has on film to show NFL scouts.

I think we’ll be fine moving the ball. Offense hasn’t been an issue since Mullen has gotten here except for like 3 games and those were Franks led games.

I understand these are just practice clips, but I will reiterate that Kimbrough was highly underrated

 

He may be a surprise next year. Just seems like a gamer to me.

I feel like Malik and Nayquan gotta have big games catching the ball and not necessarily a long wheel ( although I’m predicting one to Malik). Even 3-4 check downs a piece and let them see what they can do in open space. We’ve gotta control the ball and not go 3 and out.

 

Any chance Wells comes back next year? I hope so. I think he’ll ball out

 

Not sure where else he would go unless he is just done playing football.

 

im not going to sit here and say that marco was better but people generally put their best film up. Who knows the whole practice story.
