Now is when we talk to current players and get them to buy in or run them off, evaluate and recruit for NSD, and evaluate and recruit transfers well into summer and fall.

 

You sound like Mullen. Talks about being competitive in thumb wrestling, then lays down in a bowl game and in recruiting.

We are also looking at juco transfers. I'm not sure where that fits into the portal strategy.

 

They’re no different than most fans. They’ll praise him while there and crap all over his momma once he makes it known he’s leaving. We do it too.

 

Take this with a grain of salt but I unfortunately live in Buckeye land and know people who have great Ohio State sources. Rumor has it former OSU QB Jack Miller will be heading to Florida.

 

I would think juco transfers would be the same as portal transfers. You just gotta account for when they are going to start school semester classes wise.

 

That is rare indeed and very impressive.

 

I was reading a bit about him and saw that he had a DUI, not a huge fan of that but it seems to have worked out for Mac Jones...

Random tangent -- I was in Computer Science class in HS with a guy who ended up as the starting QB for OSU, and got kicked off the team after a DUI.
