Transfer Portal Thread (Other Schools)

So based on our history of Mullen dominating the transfer portal, we can expect a few transfers out and in this offseason, I assume?

 

I guess it depends on how many counters we use.

That's exactly what's happening

 

Gotta get some OL from the portal. This is a weak OL class even if everyone qualifies and none of them are enrolling early.

 

Portal kids aren’t going to be in the same year of eligibility so I’m not sure this years transfer affect this years freshmen.

 

How else will we get an extra DT that is Game ready? I’m assuming the same thing

 

It may make recruiting freshman harder if a transfer is likely to come in and take snaps. A balance the coaches have to deal with. Dan will figure it out.

 

I am actually more excited about who will be joining us from transfer portal than the remaining recruits in this cycle. Almost all transfer players have contributed immediately, going to have big impact for next season.

 

Totally agree, but, it doesn't seem like there have been that many jewels to be found in the portal at that position historically, unless you already have one on the hook (e.g., Reese). I guess things might be changing in that regard, though.

True. He may be able to field a staff off the jump with Muschamp as DC and Herman as OC (if Texas axes him)

 

Not sure if Meyer and Herman are in good term.
