He set a lot of records in the state of GA but he went to a small high school. He's a jitterbug.

If he does leave, this will be a black eye for GA recruiting dual threat QBs.

 

They’ve don’t just fine. I don’t think Justin Fields leaving even made a speed bump. Throwing is where it’s at anyway. Line of scrimmage is much more important anyway

 

Not exactly like NFL because half of his recruits are not blue chips. That could be a strategy to save more money for the top guys, but 10 to 15 per year with attrition of 5 of those per year doesn't get you a 2 deep of blue chips, and looking over their roster they are expecting non blue chips to be in the 2 deep. He better be exceptional at talent eval. I would actually trust CBN more on evals than Mario.

 

#1 RB in the portal just committed to Miami along with a starting LB from Louisville. Their insiders believe they will get several more soon, including highest rated WR left (Sam brown) along with some DTs. I hate to see Miami land any talented players. And I hate to see them improve the team prior to our match up.

 

They have some needs in those areas, so it's not like they are just stacking talent on talent.

 

Sam Brown is their best pick up imo. I remember when we all thought we were getting em out HS but he spurned us for WVU.

I like him. He’s phenomenal

 

Martinez is a huge pick up for them. Best RB they have had in a long time

 

We have to go to a school with no favoritism, but his son has to start? LMFAO! Sure daddy-o.

 

I worked my azz off to never worry about NOT starting in football...

 

I also think he was funding other sports at Miami, not just football.

 

They didn't already get a black-eye when the let Justin Fields walk for Jake Fromm?

 

They've had more than their fair share of highly rated QB's leave......Matt Stafford was a 5*, Jacob Eason was a 5*. Brock Vandagraff from just down the road at Prince Ave was a 4*, Justin Fields as you mentioned was a 5*.........

 

Funny how it hasn't hurt their recruiting at all while florida keeps pumping out receivers but can't recruit that position.
