True... but I believe that things have gotten better with our relationship with him. He's been back to Florida Field and he DOES have some good memories from being here. Wish he could have left on better terms, etc.

 

He's been doing quite a bit of interviews with Gator Podcaster as well. It feels like he's being genuine & I hope he is, he brought us 2 NCs so I hope the relationship can be repaired.

 

Urban did leave in good graces of fans. His send off after Ahmad Black’s pick 6 was a great moment and we all wished him well. Gator fans soured when he took an even more high pressure job 11 months after claiming the UF job almost killed him. And started negatively recruiting against us after admitting he broke the program. I have softened on Meyer over the years but he has only himself to blame for Gator Nation not plastering his name on the stadium.

 

Yeah, the guy that brought us two natty's "broke" our program. LOL.

He is evidently damn good at "breaking" programs, since we haven't done diddly in the subsequent 13 years.

As I said, Florida fans don't say nice things about him, which is why he is helping OSU stockpile talent.
