Just curious why UF is so quiet on the portal front when it is so obvious that this MUST be significantly utilized to salvage this sinking boat. No, I am not for abandoning high school recruiting or calling for a head coach change. Yet, it does not take a genius to see the need for some serious portal moves to provide CBN the needed time to transition to "his" team.

 

I admit I am looking for excuses but I think the best excuse I can come up with is that we will sign this class, then go hard into the portal. So maybe Thursday we start hearing some stuff? Idk though. The lack of news is concerning

 

It seems like there is a lack of urgency on UF's part in the portal. That being said, I would bet my bottom dollar that more than a few of these quick entry and signed players were tampered with and some probably already had under the table deals worked out before they ever entered the portal. There is no rule against it, right?
