Not impressed with Austin Reed. Has a side arm throw and looks like he has a weak arm. Good ball placement but his WRs make a lot of good catches for him.

 

Hence a 27-28 man recruiting class

 

I dunno, those screens were 50/50 in the dirt, same with the quick slants. Don’t think those patterns were AR’s strengths.

 

When can we expect some good news?

I guess what I was getting at (from things I’ve heard) is that there are a lot of guys entering the portal that are overvaluing themselves and expecting more than they’re worth. And we aren’t touching them.

 

Definitely a lower release point, but he can chuck it. I just like the guy’s resume… Div 2 champion at UWF, really solid #’s and seems to be a real leader. Which is what we’ve been lacking for a while now. We don’t have to build a team around him for the next 3-4 years, just be an experienced place setter for 1.

 

It looks like he struggles with passes over 20 yards. He doesn’t look to be a strong arm. Looks like a good fit for Syracuse or Miss State.

 

But plenty of transfers before then, I would assume.

 

Saw on another site that TE transfer Jaheim Bell has committed to the Gators. Can anyone confirm?

Curious, do you think UF will hit 30 by ESD? I believe we are around 22. Seems like a big ask for 30 considering the remaining kids are all pretty much 4 and 5 star guys with some exceptions.

It will be interesting how the final numbers shake out. I wonder if CBN hasd any worries about hitting that 85 total number giving all the transfers out.

As are Gator fans everywhere, I'm hoping we pick up a few more studs by Early Signing Day. 8 more would be a dream (given who is on the board) but realisticly I hope we get half that number.

 

I have a feeling Bugatti Billy is worried about how to get DOWN to 85. If he was truly worried about numbers he could take rando’s in the portal.

I truly believe he’s more worried about getting dead weight to transfer out to make room for the newcomers rather than wondering how he’s gonna get up to 85 players

 

in my opinion, i think to hit 30 before Xmas we would have to almost be perfect on all of the remaining targets:

Thats kinda what I was thinking Bobby. There are many schools chasing the names on that list. If UF gets 4 of the 8 on that list, that would be outstanding IMO and would certainly vault UF up the rankings.

I know this is a bit off topic, but for us football fanatics, don't you think that the services will soon come up with a "transfer portal rankings" format somewhat akin to HS recruiting rankings?
