the recruiter reputation is tied to what the HC demands.Kirby recruits and his assts recruit. It’s a culture. Remember the CB coach that Mullen brought in and Kirby hired him to get Kaair Elam? Charlton Warren? He did nothing here, but killed it at UGa. Same with the DL coach who is now at Alabama.

Could see that coming from a mile away with the sitting out for an NIL deal. But he may find it hard to get a home with that issue. He may be a Jackson State kid.

The FSU secondary was absouletly horrible last year and the year before and the year before. Starting CB for them is akin to being the tallest midget in a room full of midgets. Good luck to him

 

To be fair, so was ours yet we had possibly a first round corner on the field.

I heard a report that there were more than 4000 players (which seems really high) in the portal that no one has reached out to. If that is accurate looks like the portal jump can be a hazardous move for a lot of guys that currently have scholarships.

 

Across all divisions there are something like 900 teams. That would be like 4.5 players per team. Seems pretty high.

 

That was my favorite play of the 2021 season. No wonder he's quitting fsu.
