Hadn't seen anybody talk about him, but just saw that Florida is in his final four teams for transferring. Looks like he just entered the portal on Apr 1st. 6'5 guard averaged 10.1 pts, 4.9 reb, 1.8 ast, 1.1 stl and 1.2 TO per game. Only shot 33% from 3 and was a 78.5% FT shooter. Scored 26 points vs Auburn in the 2nd round of the tournament. Should have 2 years left of eligibility.

Arkansas, A&M and Kansas St. are his other 3 finalists. From TX, so I'm guessing based on proximity, Florida is a long shot. Still thought it was worth mentioning as Florida is in his final four teams.

Tramon Mark, Houston guard transfer, includes 3 SEC schools in top 4

I've never seen him play, so there might be some non-statistical stuff I'm missing, but he's a poor shooter for his career (39.2 percent from the field, 30 percent from three) and he averaged almost as many turnovers (1.2 per game) as assists (1.8). Unless he's a dynamite, lockdown defender, it's hard to see how he really represents much of an upgrade from what we've seen over the last few years -- a guard with decent size who can't really shoot and has limited playmaking ability.

I only watched the Auburn game and in that case he was unreal. Their top 2 guards were in foul trouble and on the bench. They called at least 5 consecutive isolation plays for him and he hit a tough shot each time. I think he scored 14 consecutive points and completely stymied Auburns rally. No idea about his stats but in that game in that environment he was their most clutch player.

He took that game over right when they needed someone to, running the point and dominating their offense with Shead in foul trouble and Sasser Hurt. Also made the game winner for them to beat Rutgers in second round of tournament as a true freshman on their final 4 run in 2021. Lockdown defender who covered the other teams best guard and averaged 10/5. We can nitpick that he shot 33% from three (which would’ve been third for UF behind only Richard & Kugel) but it’s crazy to act like adding a guy who played 30mpg and started 37 games for a 1 seed wouldn’t substantially raise our floor and ceiling.

All that being said, would be very surprised if we were able to get him.
