Clayton almost certainly will start at the 2, but he should also get minutes at the point. I believe that he made over 50% of his catch and shoot 3’s last season, so we certainly want him getting as many of those shots as possible this coming season.

Agreed and that's how I see it play out as well. But didn't coach call Clayton his starting PG a month ago? And I thought most believed Clayton wanted to audition at PG for his pro career. . I'm elated. Don't get me wrong. I'm just hoping everyone is happy - for their sake, team chemistry, and future portal efforts.
Golden doesn’t call Clayton a point guard, but he does refer to him as a combo guard who can play the point. Pitino, who is no dummy as a coach, started Clayton at the 2 but gave him plenty of opportunities at the point. I expect something similar from Golden.
My biggest Qs about the depth chart now are backup center and backup shooting guard. We've got the personnel to fill those slots, if not the perfect fit. There appears to be plenty of quality depth, though. Is it November yet?
We’ve got 6 guys who can play center and 3 or 4 guys who can play the 2. How good some of these guys are remains to be seen, but I believe that we now go at least 3 deep at every position.
Read online.. with 2 ships remaining, we are apparently looking at adding another wing for this upcoming season. No details were given (transfer, overseas, high school). We may find out sooner than later.

OP updated. Really figured the next one we got woulda been a pure 3. Sure do have a lot of guards, but I'm not going to say no to a 6'5" 43% 3pt shooter.
With Rishwain, that's 12 of 13 scholarships filled. I'm okay with the 12-man roster, not counting the walk-ons. We should be good-to-go. CTG has done a great job filling the roster.
