For over a decade the UF administration hasn't been onboard with the football team being the preeminent sport at UF. They've structured things to go after the all sports trophy. I guess they want to be Stanford. Our admin is acting like a PAC-12 school - you see what that did for that conference...

I don’t think it is so much focus on academics with players it is just the unwillingness to “get dirty”. The other schools have been cheating their a$$es off for 100 years and we didn’t but lucked into having two generational coaches that obscured us from the fact you have to get dirty to win. NIL is just the cherry on the top. There has to be greased palms down to the middle school level that completely evades NIL.

It’s the new era of college football. You can whine about having a crappy Oline & Dline or you can buy them. Oline & Dline need to be a priority and you pay them like it. Our Oline & Dline looked like they don’t belong last night. No disrespect for any of them. They have worked their butts off all offseason and dedicated everything to UF. Just not good enough at the highest level of football. Pay the big uglies!!!

That we were no. 4 in donations from 2005 to 2022 ,but we are out of top 10 in NIL tells you all you need to know about top donors' stance on athletic dept. and coach direction. They will open the pockets when the money will help.

When the coach doesn't know that Pup is the only good LB on the team and plays Moten and Wingo, and he has no solution at RT and chooses not to provide help every play, and he rolls out Marshall and 3 transfers who were not playing at the P5 or without speed/agility, the donors see it and hold on to their money.
