Todd Golden named head coach *Thread rewind*

I saw something on the interwebs a few days ago where a guy sat in during a few sideline huddles during CTG's days at San Francisco. He then told others, "This guy absolutely gets it, and will be snatched up very soon by a high major program and will win the whole thing in six years." He nailed it, except that it only took CTG three years.

 

Ha, same here. I don’t know why I didn’t leave any comment, but I know I was around. I know this because as I read through this rewind thread, I was occasionally compelled to leave a rating on the early posts, only to find that I had invariably already left that rating!

 

It was Sean Farnham, said it on Field of 68 pod in New Orleans when Golden was hired. Funny enough, happened to be in the restaurant they were broadcasting from at the time. Met Golden that day as well.
