I was going to head down for this (I live in CA) but life had other plans. Was going to attend as a lone wolf, so I just have one ticket for both Thurs and Sat. Ticket is via ticketmaster...will probably relist there, but would love to see them go to a Gator fan. I will put up a post on the ticket swap forum for those interested. Lower level, section 121...
I miss the days of buying paper tickets from the sketchy looking guy outside the stadium, but once you talked to him you rationalized to yourself he was on the up and up. I went to the ga game this year, and wish I waited until last day when tickets were $5-7. I paid $18 a week prior.
Gonna bump this one time to try to garner some NBN interest... Regardless of my listing, if you are a Gator fan that has the means to attend, I highly encourage you to make the trip and cheer this team on in person. Gator fans don't travel well for hoops (ugh, Vegas '06) but here is a great opportunity to change the narrative. SF is not as bad as it is made out to be. 1 Ticket for SF Sweet 16/Elite 8 games
Well. I have to head into the office now. If I wasn't, I'd totally take this off your hands. Let's win this. I'm already prepped to go to the final four.
One bad thing for Gator fans is that we have the early game. If we had the second game you could buy crappy seats and filter down to where the losing team was playing. That worked like a charm for when we took our kids to Atlanta for the 2007 Final Four. We didn't take them in 2006 and then promised that we would next time. And we paid up. In Atlanta we bought them seats about as far away from the floor as possible and for cheap for the first game and told them to scope out where both teams were fans were and then filter down for good seats for the Gator game. After Ohio State won the opener my wife went out to buy tickets from losing fans but scored brilliantly from an Ohio State student that had to get back to school and could not stay until the Monday game. So my kids sat in the middle of Ohio State fans in good seats on Monday night. They got a lot of good natured ribbing. In the 1994 Miami Regional against UConn we had the second game and technically one could not reenter the arena but for some reason the Miami Arena was filled with Gator fans buying Indiana seats and getting back in. Ticket takers turning a blind eye and doing the Gators a solid?
No, that's the post I was thinking of. But looks like TommyVee said that's wrong. I hate the internet.
I’m going now! Looks like you can get in for $100 (was $200 yesterday) and I can imagine prices are only going to dip. I’m going to be picky though and hold out for section 102 or 103.
