Ah, OK. I always figured ESPN+ was a stand alone streaming service. Guess not. That would be too beneficial to the consumer
ESPN+ subscription is only for ESPN+. You don’t get espn, espn2, espn3, espnu, sec, sec+, etc, etc, with an espn+ sub. ESPNU would be part of your normal cable/sat/streaming service. If it’s part of your normal service, you would be able to view it in the espn+ app with your service provider credentials, but if the channel is not part of your subscription, you won’t have access. *it has to do with the deals they cut with the service providers. They can’t undercut them and offer you unlimited access to the premium cable channels. That would crush the service providers and they wouldn’t be able to keep bending them (and us) over every time a contract was up.
TIL. Thanks. We subscribe to damn near every service because we have a rabid 13yo soccer junkie in the house and we foolishly feed his addiction. So, all I know is - if it's sports - I can watch it. Sounds great in principle, but I have to work nights behind the Wendy's dumpster to pay for it all.
Traditionally, Mike White will have a 7-point lead with 7 minutes to go and then go into his patented stall offense, milking the shot clock down to 2 seconds and throwing a prayer at the hoop. Sounds like he put in a new wrinkle: "Hey, this time I'll go into a stall while playing from behind. That'll confuse 'em!"
Let's hope UNC isn't junk. Or at least good enough to stay quad 1. Auburn gets Duke next week (what a schedule for Auburn!). I still haven't watched a full game from Flagg. Embarrassing as an adopted Mainer. I'll tune in for that
L'ville is just wrecking IU by 30 in the Bahamas with a couple mins left. #5 IA st tips off at 2:30pm against CO in Maui. #4 Auburn plays Memphis after that game. #20 A&M vs. #21 Creighton at 6:30pm in Vegas #2UConn, losers of 2-ina-row against Anthony Grant's Dayton in the late Maui game
Auburn just steamrolling people. Just super long and athletic, 2-5. Maybe don’t have the point guard play Pearl wants, but really good across the board. Those Auburn-Bama games are gonna be great.
Bama and Rutgers tied 41-41 at the half! Great game....on TBS! The two Rutgers' freshmen, Bailey and Harper, are REALLY good!
Really don't like seeing Bama good in basketball on a yearly basis. We lost the claim of being the last school to repeat when uconn did it now I root against Tennessee, Bama and any other school that is good in multiple sports so we can maintain our claim as the only three sport title holder in the big 3 sports in the past 50 plus years.
UNC lost to mich state. Was hoping they would have won since we play them soon. Don't know if anyone watched but what a sloppy brand of basketball played by both teams. Chuckball and layup attempts in traffic. Not real entertaining or quality basketball.
