That could happen without a brawl if both teams have enough players DQ'd either with 5 fouls, two technicals or a flagrant 2. Having both teams get below three players at the same time requires a double foul and that normally requires a fight but it might be only between two players and not a brawl.

Added in edit: Players from both sides could get T's for taunting and if second T's for both they would both be DQ'd. Or if a fifth foul as T's count as fouls.

Just saw a crazy stat. Vols shot 45 3 pointers and only made 11. Not a great 3 point shooting team to begin with. You'd think they would try a few 2 pointers after awhile.
