FWIW.....I'm one of the few who picked us to win in our first conference game.....

SEC falls to 164-21 overall

Hoping that Kentucky would keep winning prior to January 4. Is the game in Lexington suddenly a "trap game?"

 

My goodness, KenPom does not like 10=2 Kentucky, putting them at #26. It is their #61 defense docking their rating.

ESPN matchup predictor gives us a 40% shot at Rupp.

 

UK took a big fall in every poll I've looked at.

 

This worries me. Sandwiched between big games like Stetson and UT, it could very well be a trap game.

Mizzou lets the conference down

 

I am an Illinois grad (MS and PhD) and Illinois v Mizzou is truly a border war.

 

#1 Tennessee getting beat right now...by an unranked team!

Edit: Rocky Top ran away with it at the end there.....82-64....oh well...it was fun while it lasted!

Gonzaga versus UCLA was an exciting game. I didn't like a call near the end of the game where a UCLA player elbowed a Gonzaga player in the face on a drive to the basket and the UCLA player got an And 1.

 

4 loss Gonzaga at 6 in kenpom somehow.

 

Kansas down 1, home vs. West Virginia, 34 seconds, WVU has the ball.

KU gets a steal, misses a layup, has to foul.

 

WVU gets KU defender in the air, leans into him for the foul. Going to the line, tie game, 1.8 seconds.

Misses first. Makes second. KU long pass down the court. Doesn't get the foul call. WVU wins, down goes #7. WVU gets first win at the field house, previously 0-11. First Kansas loss in conference opener since 1991.

 

Drake loses at UIC (Illinois-Chicago), 74-70.
Three unbeatens remaining. All are SEC teams. Only one matters.

 

Too bad Gators couldn't open up hosting the Hogs. Scored 27 points in the first half at Tennessee, down 15.
