Refs cost us that game. They were in the bonus like 8 minutes into the second half and we didn’t get there until overtime. And one of those corner 3’s to the skinny white boy freshman should have been a step out of bounds on the pass. Screw Bama and their cheating home court. We are the better team
Only one team has blown us out all year. We have been in every game against the best in our conference outside of that Ole Miss game. I would say if that game was on our floor we would have won it, but we can't even get home cookin' at home, so who knows.
We lost pretty good at Tennessee also but point taken. They literally mugged us every time we took it inside. Foul disparity was garbage. We are going to kick the crap out of them at home and then I hope we get them in the sec tourney on a neutral floor and beat them again. Refs cost us a top 4 seed. I mean how do you miss a guy wrapping around clearly stepping out of bounds which resulted in a corner 3. Those 3 points were the difference even with getting screwed on the foul calls. Golden is the man. I don’t care what anyone says.
The last play of regulation should have put Clayton on the line. Clear over the back after the block with no call! The announcers were as bad as the officiating.
That too. There is so much coming to mind as I calm down. Those Bama pieces of crap were getting away with football body blows.
What I love about basketball: We get to prove if we're elite over a few weeks in March. Would have LOVED the win on the road! But, if they perform in March, this loss won't matter so to speak...water under the bridge.
That’s not true. This affects our seeding. We win this game we likely have all the confidence in the world and possibly win out, get a top 3 ncaa tourney seed and a much easier road. Now we get a UConn type team in the round of 32 and a much more dangerous round 1 opponent. I’m not exaggerating when I say this win we were robbed of cost us 4-5 seeds in the ncaa tournament (3-4 seed and now we will get a 7-9 seed).
Like this team. We can go out in first rd We also can make the final 4. We can beat any team out there.
Oh it definitely matters. This was a quad 1 team on the road and a game we HAD. All game. And we were ROBBED. Every game matters, it’s almost March
One thing I LOVE about this team is that we don’t really have any matchup problems. The only one I can think of is Zach Eddy but we can manage with Handlogten and Condo
I think in a few days, you'll realize that one loss on the road to a top team does NOT affect seeding by 4-5. I would wager that that has literally never happened. Either way, all good.
They hadn’t lost at home in almost 2 full years. That would have been the equivalent of 2 quad 1 wins in the committees’ eyes and now we don’t get credit for jack crap.
Yes that’s the problem, they got away with it. The only reason they play it is because the refs allow it. The balls to call ticky-tack on one end then allow body-checking and an elbow to the head on the other end. Time to do away with refs completely and go with smart uniforms. But then you’d have to hack the software to fix games
We beat them tonight and win Saturday we’re a top 15 team. That’s a big difference in seeding and matchups
We lost a close game on the road to the best team in the conference. Period. As usual though......you can't handle a little adversity. And have to start a new thread with your whining and crying. What an embarrassment.......
