We are a nation that lost its confidence, willpower, and strength. We are a nation that has lost its way.

We are a nation that allowed Russia to devastate a country, Ukraine, killing hundreds of thousands of people, and it will only get worse … Taiwan will be next.

 

It’s interesting which group rallies around the motto “Make America great again”.

Also, nowhere in there is anything about hate. 65% of current Democrats think the US is at least among the greatest nations on Earth. And even the other 35% just say there is another country that is better, which says nothing of absolute judgements. I think there are better sax players than Cannonball Adderley, but I like him so much I named one of my kids after him.

 

I hope he appreciates how cool the name Cannonball truly is.

Ha, I left out the details, but unfortunately it wasn’t the cannonball part that my kid inherited. My daughter’s middle name is Adderley.

The fact that millions from other parts of the world come here illegally tells me we're at least a pleasant alternative to most. Then again, I don't know of another nation that would put up with the porous border we've allowed the last three years.

Then he goes on to explain what made us great was that we didnt scare so easily, we undertook big government projects, built big things, had the best art and economy, revered knowledge and were not afraid of it, spent money on poverty not poor people... he's right, we were great.
