What would you do if Donald Trump walked through a dressing room where one of your minor daughters or granddaughters were dressing? Give him a high five? Or would you be displeased by that?

Supposedly the school wasn’t requiring the girls to change in front of the trans student (there are other private areas they can change) but saying the trans student had access to the locker room. That’s not as bad as forcing students to change in front of someone but what’s the problem with having the trans student change in a gender neutral area instead? That seems to be the crux of the issue for the mother and I can’t say I disagree as a parent of two young daughters.

On an April 11, 2005, Howard Stern show, Donald Trump bragged about some of the special perks he enjoyed while owner of the Miss USA pageant. They came not in a locker room but a dressing room.

“I'll go backstage before a show and everyone's getting dressed and ready and everything else,” he said. “And you know, no men are anywhere. And I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant. And therefore I'm inspecting it.....You know they're standing there with no clothes. And you see these incredible looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that.”

“He just came strolling right in. There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. Some girls were topless. Other girls were naked.

“Our first introduction to him was when we were at the dress rehearsal and half-naked changing into our bikinis.

“To have the owner come waltzing in, when we're naked, or half-naked, in a very physically vulnerable position and then to have the pressure of the people that worked for him telling us to go fawn all over him, go walk up to him, talk to him, get his attention.”

I literally posted an interview where he specifically said that he did exactly this.

It must be nice, in a strange sad way, to be so absolutely enamored with a political hero that one can deny reality in such a flagrant way.

He had middle school aged kids in his beauty pageants? Not the same thing at all.
