Well, nowadays it totally depends on who's voice is on the voicemail. You can be absolutely sure if it was a certain other bitterly hated well known public figure, it would be it's own 24/7 news cycle...

Having famous last name and a politically connected parent isn't a crime. Neither is using your claim to fame to enrich yourself. Even Hunter himself has admitted if his last name were Smith, he wouldn't have had the same career.

Hunter may have name dropped his father too. But there is no evidence Joe Biden was any sort of participant in Hunter's career. No paper trail. No money trail. And really no hard evidence of connection past what a typical father son conversation around the son's job. Hunter is being investigated, and he likely didn't register properly as a foreign agent. But Joe doing anything wrong? Show me something concrete.

Concrete is a knowledge of top secret files being stored at Mar-a-Lago. An affidavit from Trump's lawyer stating these docs don't exist at Mar-a-Lago, and a subpoena that was ignored before the Mar-a-Lago raid. Evidence already out there when this thread was started. Now, as of last night, there's more evidence Trump obstructed the FBI and tried to hide the fact he had the TS docs at Mar-a-Lago.

Said it before, Hunter monetized his familial relationship by creating the illusion that he could influence his father. Similarly, Hunter ended up in positions for which he apparently had little experience because the interests responsible for placing him in those positions thought that he could influence his father. Once again, please provide a tangible example in which Hunter was actually able to influence Joe Biden. Asked many times before and have yet to receive an answer. Oh yea, there was the reference to the meeting with the "big guy" presumably Joe Biden. The meeting if it ever did take place would have occurred in 2018 when Trump was actually the president and the Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress. That being the situation I really don't know how Joe Biden could have influenced policy.

This is just false. He is a lawyer and manages a hedge fund and previously worked as an executive for a bank. A lawyer with a background in finance is precisely the background of a big chunk of board members of companies (and he has experience sitting on boards, including Amtrak), as your primary responsibilities are to provide financial oversight, design and oversee corporate governance, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

He likely has monetized his name somewhat, which is also highly common on boards, but there is no indication provided thus far of inappropriate activity flowing the other direction.

Hunter Biden was vice-chairman of the board of Amtrak from 2006 until 2009. He was appointed by George Bush. He resigned when his father became VP. He was appointed to the Burisma board to provide it with corporate governance expertise. Burisma was a client of the law firm that HB worked for. He might have been the most qualified person on the board, but he did acknowledge that his last name helped him get the position.
