The Vols SHOULD beat the Dawgs

That should absolutely not be the case, but it probably will be.

 

Yeah, the talking heads said that Georgia will not make the playoff's if they lose this game.

Tenn has some spark this year and are riding the wave. Being a Ga home game helps a ton for the Dawgs. I personally think Georgia is the better team. But...that doesn't mean their win is a given. If Tenn can get to Bennett or get a pic or two, he'll get rattled. He got rattled in our game but we wasted the first half away and are not nearly as good as Tenn or Ga. Not sure if they get to Hooker. But it should be an entertaining matchup.

Embracing a contrarian opinion, I think Tenn will win this one, even with Georgia's home field advantage.

If the dogs can score like they normally do... this game is easy. But Tennessee is good at scoring points too, and UGA is not as good as their record appears to be that they are at stopping it. UGA has a better defense than any team that Tennessee has faced and they are going into the dog's den to play.

If all are healthy then I expect a close game, but UGA better score with Tennessee or this game could get away from them. 45-49 UGA.

On the other side it really depends if UT plays man. If they play man 50% or more then they’ll win.

Maybe that Heupel offense isn't all that after all. Hooker running for his life the whole game. Ga D dominated.

 

Classic team ranked number one, team instantly loses focus because they don’t know how to be number one. Disappointed the game wasn’t funner. Was frankly boring to watch.

we all forgot about defense, or lack of.

 

It's called crow. Tastes like chicken. Next meal, humble pie.

 

Look at how both our lines played against Tennessee vs UGA. We competed on both sides vs Tennessee and got dominated both sides by UGA, why I thought UGA would win.

 

I suspect if we had played the Vols towards the end of our season, the outcome would have been different. I also know that the dawgs are a complete team, and if Kirby stays, their level of play and roster makeup is what we will have to come close to in order to compete for championships.

 

If he stays? Where would he go?

 

Georgia is the best team in the country - again. Ohio State will play them for the national title, IMO.
