"In the final play of the game, Cougar Emanuel Sharp leapt to make a three but Florida’s Walter Clayton Jr outstretched his arms and the Houston player let go of the ball. Clayton Jr was unable to pick the ball up again, and otherwise he would have been guilty of a travel infringement. Condon realised the predicament and dived on the loose ball with about one second left." This aussie writer is dialed in lol.
Maybe amongst OAN and the like. Not amongst professionals that actually earned degrees in journalism.
is it just me or did Rioux's voice get deeper? I swear he's still growing. Normally you see a guy listed at 7'9 (ok no one is but) and not think wait, he's taller than that. He looks a foot taller than Condo
as bad as that writing is, what scared me most was this quote: "If Condon doesn’t get picked up by an NBA franchise in this year’s draft, he plans to stay with Florida next season with the hope of getting drafted in 2026. He is definitely a 2nd round pick at worst. So is Haugh. I hope in addition to that error, he's also speaking out of turn and Condo wants to return regardless.
that's a very logical approach. Not exactly what we want to hear, but who can blame him if he's projected in the 1st round. You can't turn down that opportunity, as much as we'd love to have him back. The other concern for us is Haugh is pretty close to that range too. If Condo goes Haugh might follow his best friend and declare
Dang....I was hoping he'd come back if he were in the 15-30 range to possibly get up into the lottery NEXT year. Hard to imagine him not being somewhere in 15-30
