    1) Announce a huge reveal that will be rolled out in a week or two, that will either prove he actually is presidenting or businessing, will devastate his enemies, and/or will exonerate him from all his crimes;

    2) All the media, from the Fox News propagandists to legitimate news companies who should know better by now but keep chasing clicks and ratings, plaster the announcement across multiple news cycles, and discuss what it could be, and how it could be the big game changer everyone has been waiting for since Trump bankrupted the USFL;

    3) Never do the big reveal, blame it on lawyers or the media or your enemies or any number of other red herrings;

    4) Trump fans have basted in the lie long enough to add it to their arsenal of fact/evidence denial (even though it's the 12 billionth time Trump has promised something like a healthcare plan, an infrastructure plan, or complete exoneration coming in 1-2 weeks, and then pulled the football away just as Charlie Brown was about to kick it), and those on the fence and generally uninformed about everything, hear it repeated enough times in the media that they develop a vague impression through perpetual power of suggestion that Trump actually did have a secret reveal but got railroaded;

    5) The same media that led with the announcement for days on end, post a back page note about its cancellation, without ever discussing the fact that this has been repeated 12 billion times, and is an obvious scam tactic.

    6) Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

    Trump cancels press conference on election fraud claims, citing attorneys' advice

    If this "irrefutable report" of proof of voter even exists, he could simply release it without comment. His lawyers were concerned he'd say something during the press conference that would dig his hole deeper ... but just putting the report out there would solve that, especially since I assume Trump didn't write the report himself...

    My guess is it doesn't exist, and never existed ... just like "I have great ideas for health care, I'm releasing my plan in a week or two ..."

    I have come to the conclusion that the prosecutors want him out in public speaking and making the cases worse for himself every time he opens his mouth.

    I had a similar thought about that town hall he did awhile back on CNN. Many were blasting CNN for giving him air time, but he seems to make things worse for himself every time he talks about any of this stuff.

    Trump is arrogant and unlikable. Unfortunately it appears our legal system is being abused against him and he has finally hit the wall with what his lawyers are going to advise him to be able to say publicly. Trump is smart enough to know when to stop. I wanted to say plenty about the people who stole from us. And it is hard to keep quiet about thieves. Eventually we were made whole (by the law/not by reality). And I kept quiet about the people involved. But they are after Trump at an unprecedented level and it is not good for the country unless they have an air tight case against him. And I suspect they do not. Could be wrong.

    We will see...

    ***and for the fools like the OP who think I am some qanon/trump supporter...I will not be voting for trump in the primaries like in 2016/but we need to be concerned about the fascist country we are watching unfold***

    Lol, you realize there are truths and facts and there are horse$hit interpretations of the facts. I’m sorry that you choose to listen to only to one side’s interpretation.
    Once again the Echo Chamber of the lefts “interpretation “ doesn’t change the facts.

    So you're saying the truth is that Trump does have absolute proof that the election was stolen?

    The corollary to the proposition that the legal system is being turned against Trump ("weaponized" as members of the Cult of Donald and the feckless Republican politicians supporting Trump prefer to say) because he represents political opposition is that as a former president and current presidential candidate he should be above the law and should not be held accountable for his past acts including although no means limited to a flagrant albeit failed attempt to overthrow the government.

    The legal system actually hasn't been weaponized except in the minds of Trumpers. I strongly suspect that this example is much more of a real case in which a certain president actually weaponized the IRS against his perceived opponents and if he is elected again he will actually weaponize the federal government against his political opponents to an extent never seen before in American history.

    I make a point of listening to various interpretations. If you read my posts, you’ll see I’m a moderate - liberal in most things, but conservative in others. It’s beyond ironic and into the realm of disingenuousness that you would accuse anyone of “listen[ing] to only one side’s interpretation.” I have yet to see a post of yours that exhibits anything other than a right wing mindset.

    BTW, everyone, INCLUDING YOU, interpret events through the prism of their life experiences and prejudices. To say your prism reflects only facts is the real “horseshit”.

    All of us, including me, would do well to step back occasionally and take stock of our own prejudices…..our horseshit if you will.

    LOL. This thread isn’t even about a specific fact set. It’s an observation, an observation of Trumps pattern of behaviors and how the media responds to them.

    It also seems pretty much a given Trump was full of crappola with his “indisputable evidence”. If there was “indisputable evidence” it would have been brought in one of the many dozens of lawsuits challenging the election (but that didn’t happen, the clown lawyers willing to push his lies re: 2020 were so full of shit they now face criminal legal liability or disbarment). His current lawyers, at least the competent defense lawyers having to defend him from criminal charges, obviously knew what’s up and knew he was likely to just incriminate himself further. Hence, firehose of bullshit event cancelled. Don’t worry though, my bet is the competent lawyers can only contain him for so long. That’s literally what happened leading up to 1/6. He had his White House council telling him stuff he didn’t want to hear (I.e. the competent attorneys warning him of the illegality of his preferred course). He sought out an outside team of Kraken “lawyers” to do his bidding (I.e. to engage in a criminal scheme). He’s probably auditioning a new set of Kraken lawyers right now to work behind his defense attorneys’ backs.

    Oh I fully understand that my outlook and my interpretations have a right bias and I’m more than willing to admit that.
    Most posters here spout tidbits of the truth with their leftist interpretation on the rest. That is all I’m saying.
