Good news is Kowacie is following Golden on Twitter. So the marquee player remains on board.

Lot's of amazing talent in the portal. It will almost neutralize the year in and year out advantage that the Kentucky's, Duke's, Kansas's, and UNCs get from HS recruiting.

Ok. Can't take someone playing with you. You say things like 17 best PG run down our coach and players yet your not annoying.
Bring up Glover anytime someone says anything I bet it's annoying to some also
I like the board so don't pull up mine and I won't pull yours up so it should be less annoying for you, was not what I was shooting for.
I have nothing against any one on here.
Enjoy the board that's what it's for, don't want to annoy anyone.

This is a great point. I think this past year shows that finding the right pieces to fit your team by position and coaching style is also very important. Mike White on paper seemed to bring in some nice transfers this past season, but he brought in 0 pg's and 3 guards of which only one could play SF. He also brought in a 4 in Felder, but he barely played either due to injury, sickness or coach's decision. I have confidence that Golden will do a better job in this area.

lsu out there waiving cash/NIL money. I hope we are talking NIL also or we won’t get the elites.
Just being a top five academic doesnt move the top players.

I wonder what NIL type deals our basketball players even can get.

McNeil plays with the ball in his hand way more than Jones ever did. I think McNeil is a much better all around player.

He scored 21 on us coming off the bench last year (made 5 threes).

He will be able to go wherever he wants. His offer list is already very strong.

I'd like Stockton, but only if we also get Malone.

Or Earvin Johnson even though he was 6' 8" and a bit too tall for the position.

Hill is following his coach from Murray St. Bigger news would have been if he opted to go elsewhere

Not many Matt Bonners or Bill Bradleys out there.

But I would take one like that.

Add David Robinson into that group.
