No, that is not my logic and again remind you that the original argument was about no credible difference between those with lived experience and those w/o. Certainly I could explain how the playing of an instrument provides insight to specific composers, works, eras, etc. but it would likely be met with snide comments about the flute or magic instruments. Rather, I encourage you to consider the matter carefully with the understanding that teaching history is not a mere matter of passing along knowledge.
Just got laugh at these fools ... I love that Target lady tells him he she supports Satan... awesome...
I don't hate anyone, though Kirby and Trump are the two closest. I admit that I loathe people PRETENDING to be Christians. The bigoted, hate mongerers are not Christian. Also, does the above comment mean you currently boycott all retailers? Because every November and December I see Christmas decorations and related merchandise everywhere. That is a Christian holiday that retailers profit from. Do you boycott all of them?? In fact, this seems like the perfect place for this:
You hate white conservative Christians. But you love woke liberal weirdness. My guess is you don’t quite know how to fit in. And you can’t quite let go of a grudge.
it is exactly your logic. I merely substituted the word English for musician. There is no correlation between being a musician and being a musical historian. There may be a commonality because most people who go into that field probably like music and as a result play an instrument. You are confusing the two. And I disagree about your pronouncement of teaching history. It is absolutely about passing along knowledge, anything else would be indoctrinating. You want your students to know and master the facts, hopefully from multiple sources and perspectives, and let them draw their own conclusions, and gain their own empathy for historical incidences. You can’t teach empathy. Empathy is an emotion.
nothing quite as ironic as a poster saying he loathes his neighbor, while posting a meme about Jesus loving thy neighbor. Bwaaahaaaaaaahaaaaaa. Post some more funnies, I’m begging you.
Nearly everything you wrote here is incorrect, cept the part about multiple sources/perspectives and drawing conclusions. BTW - do some reading on empathy. Characterizing it as an emotion is also incorrect.
I assume this dude makes money from those stunts. I’ve seen several different videos of that same individual harassing various people and employees at Target. Even if the guy was legit bothered by this stuff, imagine a central part of your life is going around harassing department store employees and then posting videos online of yourself doing these crimes. What is that? His hobby? His job? That’s grade A loser shit. If that’s how he makes a living online, that would make him essentially like a particularly annoying panhandler on top of being a public nuisance. His parents must be proud. But then again, maybe that’s just how he was raised. Sad.
I’m sure the maga money is flowing in. I’m thinking about getting in on the hate action. Seems lucrative.
I bet you could find "woke" dirt on every company in America. Guess what? Most of America is woke. Good for us!
Great thread here on “Christian “ trans rudeness from one of best public commenters out there right now - Charlotte Clymer
While I’m no fan of this DEI racism practices you practically have to have them to survive lawsuits in corporate America.
