beat Mizzou and we will be 2-3 (I think we lose to Tenn. at their place. Hopefully I am wrong.) we be only one game away from where we thought we be at that time 3-2.
Yep. A quick look shows we've jumped quite a bit in free throw % (266th), 3-point % (185th), and 3-point defense (188th). These improvements are translating into wins.
One would think, but I'm not going to spend the time it took to do the research. It's somebody else's turn.
I'm your huckleberry. Using teamrankings.com: Stat old new Ass/TO 124 103 FT% 318 275 3pt% 204 181 3pt def 226 154 FG def 147 130 FG% 104 102 Scoring def 296 298 Fouls 236 184 Pts/game 10. 6 Quite the statistical hole we're digging out of. Still not great numbers, but three areas in which the eye test told us we had to improve have seen significant increases: Ass/TO ratio, FT%, and 3pt defense.
This year is what transfer basketball and NIL will look light for the near future. Figure out who can handle the pressure of the SEC and finding the best out of each player. Kentucky on steroids! They still get mostly one and dones but the transfers and NIL make it even dicier. I knew we would take a while to start jelling, but we saw it in the kats game.
