Nope...didn't get in initially due to academic deficiencies. Transferred like all the rest when Napier cleaned out the Mullen storage room.

 

There was talk of him not being with the team by Napier, something about not doingvwhat he needed to do.

 

There was, and everyone assumed it was to get his academics in order, but there was never confirmation of that being the reason that he was "on break" from the team.

 

Wild guess would be academics. That was always his problem in the past.

 

That’s what I took it as. I can’t remember how he worded it but it sounded like things other than football. I’m sure there are many more that don’t get theirs grades in order . Everyone doesn’t get the Dion treatment but I’m sure many do.

 

Not grasping the playbook quickly enough often goes hand-in-hand with academic issues, too.
