The Official Offensive Line OL recruiting thread

Idk part of me feels like UM just stirs up fake drama on the recruiting trail so they can build hype through recruiting “battles”. All the Malik Bryant drama seemed fake and now this OV drama with McClain and Okunlola.

 

Definitely possible. The kid might be interested in UF but it would literally go against everything we have all seen in recruiting for years. He has been trending towards them for months and then all the sudden started visiting us. This just seems like clout chasing and they can’t pull this with teams like Bama, UGA, and OSU yet. This feels like Jimbo ans early stage Kirby hype building.

Well I'm sure it has a little some thing to do with Miami completely falling apart last season.

 

That is exactly what it is. They couldn’t point to anything on the field so they stir up recruiting wins to stay in the news. They talk shit about us losing to Vandy (accountants/med students/ JDs) and they lost to DUKE by what 3 scores at home in front of an even smaller crowd.

This has to be #1 priority recruit now that Lagway is committed. Doesn’t he have a connection to someone at UF?

 

Did UF even make a serious run at Gunner Britton from Western Kentucky? I'm seeing Auburn as his destination.

 

Probably as good as Campbell with more eligibility
