Very likely, although I did read today that Bill is going to venture outside of his tree and interview some other guys too. Bringing back former DC Matt Patricia to be the OC was a disaster.

Glenn Schumann is who will likely get the job, imho. He’s only the co-DC at UGA with Champ and probably wants to get out from under that setup and on his own. No better place for him than Alabama.

I take it Ed didn’t make a quick campus visit to BC before agreeing to be the HC there. It appears to be only a slight step down from the ‘U’ facilities though..

 

So, BOB & Bama did split, contract was finished and was not renewed. This will be a very interesting hire by Nick. The OC gig there is typically a direct path to a HC job. He won’t bring someone in that’s just average.

 

Imagine if Saban can pull off Mullen for OC and Leonhard from Wisky. Eek!
