If it happens that is an interesting choice in his end. I still think he could of done some damage at GT or Cincy.

Good. Keep him away from Florida.

USF. Build up recruiting relationships, dominate their weak conference, then go to an SEC school (or FSU) in 2-4 years and have the ability to immediately recruit all of Florida, especially south Florida.
USF seems like a no brainer to me, for the sake of the long game

I tend to agree, but I wonder if he feels his age starting to come into play. He's going to be 60 by the time his next gig emerges....not horribly old but a lot closer to the end than the beginning. Any misstep or setback may end it for him

yea so I def retract what i've always thought in that he should wait a few years and build up JSU similar to how Tressel built up Youngstown State and walked into a blue blood program like OSU in 2000 when he was 49 years old

should be made official tonight/tomorrow according to everyone. If he flies way to Colorado to tell them to their face that he's turning the job down, that may be the funniest coaching job offer decline that i could ever think of

Great way to move a step closer to being fired!!! Hire a reject as a coordinator.

Saban will be happy to get rid of him.

Looking for a quick stop in CO and then some Mel Tucker money. Mel Tucker might make more per year than Deion did in the NFL as Prime Time.

Who takes the USF job? Thought Frost would be ideal. Sounds like Chadwell will take Liberty job. Sanders takes Colorado. Has to be a fired former head coach like chryst at Wisconsin/Pitt or frost at Nebraska/UCF or an OC, but that experiment failed this time with Jeff Scott

Not a bad selection. Knows Florida now. Used to playing and recruiting lesser talent. Most of his former coaching staff would be immediately available to join him again
