Cohen has been a Kentucky for one season. They were 8th in the SEC in total offense and 5th and scoring offense.

Poor Mario, he’s had trouble building and maintaining a staff....even with all that $$$ Ruiz is pouring into the U.

Georgia: Miami co-offensive coordinator Bryan McClendon will rejoin Georgia as wide receivers coach, a source tells The Athletic’s Seth Emerson. McClendon, a former Georgia player, was on staff from 2007-15.

 

Is Mario coaching all the positions on the Hurricanes staff? Does he have any hires other than coaches that came with him from Oregon?

Coaches don’t like the way Diaz was treated on the way out. You don’t recruit a replacement while the existing coach is still on staff. Perhaps other coaches are sending Miami AD a message?

 

Perhaps, but, didn't Stricklin start talking to Napier after the South Carolina game? Maybe he just started thinking through the change, but, I thought I read somewhere that the process began than day.

Their really good OL coach passed away recently. Not saying this guy isn't good, but he inherited the work of the previous guy who was very respected.

 

I do remember that, but, had assumed that the torch was passed. Maybe I'm giving the new guy too much credit.

 

Clearly the new guy has done well...but I do think it's only been a year or two
