Wow great for him, wonder if there was any interest on the Gator’s part. Probably not. Too bad.

If I was a Vol fan, I would be highly ticked off right now. Can't wait to see BVD's reaction to this.

Here’s an out of the box suggestion for Mullen to hire as his OF Brian Hartline, the OSU WR coach. He can recruit great and has been in a winning system his whole career.

They have been mediocre for the large majority of 15-20 years. I’m not sure what anyone expected out of their hire.

They are not a top program.

Interesting choice. I had read somewhere that Hartline was being considered for Meyer's staff in Jax.

Im not sure he would come to Florida for the same position unless he gets the same OC tag BJ got.

What do we know about Garrick McGee? How good of a recruiter is he?

    He
He’s 47 so there’s that. I’m trying to remain positive here buddy but I can’t help but wonder if there ever was a time to bring in a young recruiting savage that this was it but what can ya do. I just hope he knows what he’s doing. It’s a spot that he dominates the action anyway so getting someone that was a top shelf recruiter and an unknown in terms of coaching could more easily be covered up at the oc/qb spot than any other in staff.

It really has been a bizarro world type feel since the night LSU came to town.

I agree that we need a elite recruiter and the little I know about this guy don’t believe that he is the answer for that.

So, a running back coach offerred to coach tight ends... sounds familiar, with a different outcome at AL.
