So happy for Javier Castellano. 16 tries and he finally gets his first well deserved Derby win. He’s been sick & hurt, some thought he might be finished, but no, he’s not! I’ve spent some time with him and his family at Gulfstream Park, really good people.

 

You were thinking back 50 years ago when CBS covered Secretariat's run to the triple crown.

 

Some buddies and I drove from UF to Tampa, checked into a hotel, partied while we watched Secretariat win the Kentucky Derby, and then went to the old Sombrero and saw Led Zeppelin in concert. 1973
