Without question. That would never happen. My point is that to remove the unending friction you would have to remove not only the people but also the reasons those people would demand to come back, one of which would be the Islamic holy sites.

 

My hope has always been that it was the existence of the holy sites that keeps the peace but as each side radicalizes a bit more, that hope diminishes.

There is some pushback online about the validity of the so-called top secret plans that NBC acquired. I'm not qualified to judge, but apparently the Arabic in it sounds like it came out of a translator instead of being natural.

I was wondering about them because they seem to presuppose that they would have hours inside Israel. That turned out to be the case but it is hard to believe that that was part of the plan, that they knew the IDF would not respond for hours

 

I shouldn't have written that I didn't see it as much as a trap when that is the impetus for committing such atrocities in the first place.
