But, I guess some people here would say that the UN and Amnesty International are fake news sources who have it "out" regarding Israel.

There are some very ignorant folks if they think Likud and Netanyahu were ever interested in compromise and peace. They're hardliners who intentionally empowered Hamas for years because it weakened the Palestinian National Authority and killed any chance of a unified Palestinian state. Likud's hostility to peace is nothing new.

Sorry if this isn’t new, but NBC got documents showing Hamas’ plans to target elementary schools before the attack. As the father of a four year old and six year old, I just can’t comprehend this.

And I didn’t click on the pictures of the babies posted about numerous times, but this just hit closer to home for me given my kids’ ages.

I would caution you to be on the lookout for sensational propaganda such as this. Just be aware that is may or may not be real. We already have enough information to determine Hamas are terrorists and quite brutal. We didn’t need this story to confirm anything for us we didn’t already know, but we still got it. Could be very legit, but I’m getting skeptical at some of this stuff, because there are political agendas at play here. Regardless of who or whom I support/don’t support, the propaganda appears to be thick on both sides of this war.

It's beyond repulsive. But I can't say it's incomprehensible. I don't make this point to be callous. Rather, I make this point out of sadness. Monsters targeting schools are a reality that have become too common here.

 

I am curious why they would plan to attack schools on a religious holiday. It might have been an early plan not executed in favor of the advantages that the selected day had.
