Perhaps. I think its more likely he said it because he wants to get reelected. In any event, he stood up when it counted, twice - once when Trump pressured him and again when called upon to testify. He's a good human in my book, but, as you can see by the funny emojis, not in the books of the not so good ones.....the ones who think its perfectly okay for a fair election to be overturned for the first time in our history.
Arizona GOP censures House Speaker Rusty Bowers The Arizona GOP executive committee censured House Speaker Rusty Bowers on Tuesday night, stating he has “lost the confidence of a majority of Republican party leaders.” Dr. Kelli Ward, Chairwoman of the Arizona GOP, confirmed the censure via Twitter. “The AZGOP Executive Committee has formally censured Rusty Bowers tonight — he is no longer a Republican in good standing & we call on Republicans to replace him at the ballot box in the August primary,” tweeted Ward. The GOP press release highlighted some bills Bowers had backed that Republicans say went against his party. Republicans had pushed HB 2294, which stated only two genders should be named on all government documents, whereas Bowers was the sole Republican who opposed the bill. The GOP also said in the release that Bowers had joined Democrats to sponsor a $1 billion education spending bill and also killed a bill to reinstate the Pledge of Allegiance in Arizona schools permanently. “Bowers has demonstrated he is unfit to serve the platform of the Republican Party and will of the voter of the Republican Party of Arizona,” read the release. Bowers also testified before the Jan. 6 subcommittee back in June, saying he was pressured to overturn the election results. In the testimony, Bowers said former president Donald Trump called him and proposed to have the state replace its electors for Joe Biden with those favoring him. Bowers told the committee he wanted to see evidence of voter fraud, which he said Trump’s team never showed.
The mob mentality is very evident and accepted in today's society. It is a shame we can't just agree to disagree on things. This whole idea of rallying people up to march against any of it makes me tired. You want to protest you have all the right in this country to do it, but shouldn't some level of human decency be adhered to? Whether it's against this guy, the supremes, or any of it. It is sad that we don't have enough to keep us busy that we can have the time to put so much energy into some of these stupid protests against something or someone we just disagree with.
Manipulating laws to prevent people from getting a medical procedure isn't agree to disagree. How do you not understand this? If it was agree to disagree it would be: "I don't agree with getting abortions, so I'm personally never going to get one. But I'm glad you have access to something that you need or you feel is the best decision for your future"...but yeah that isn't the case.

Understanding that my belief is that you are killing another person makes me want to impose that, on your "medical procedure", just like imposing on you that murder is illegal. How can yo not understand that? There is nothing biblical or religious about my thoughts on abortion. Murder is murder. You want to have a conversation about when that life begins, then by all means I am more than open to that discussion, and it no longer becomes murder. But when is that point? Conception? When the heart starts to beat? When viable outside the womb? I do not have the answer but to claim it is not murder of another human at some point, while still in the womb, is just wrong thinking. You accuse others of pushing their beliefs, but absolutely refuse to accept that many view abortion as murder. If not murder, what do you call it? Do we not prosecute folks who kill a pregnant woman for killing two people? You guys that want abortion can't accept it may be murder because no one wants to condone murder. Late term may not happen often, so why not make illegal? Why does it happen at all except for the life of the mother?

It isn't murder dude. A fetus is not a human. This isn't something to be discussed, it's a fact. No one? Maybe you should go take a look at christians lining up at reproductive health clinics with their signs and yelling at those walking in and out of the clinics. I'll leave it at that.
