    MAGA has had significant opportunities to lead during the Trump administration (2017-2021) and, more recently, with control of the House of Representatives since 2022. Given these opportunities, how has MAGA leadership directly and positively impacted the average American? Focusing on measurable outcomes, rather than partisanship, what are the tangible results of MAGA policies?

    MAGA's next great accomplishment may be shutting down the government in October.

    Mike Johnson’s SAVE Act Stunt May Shut Down the Government

    If it happens a shutdown could do as much for Trump's campaign as did his debate performance, probably much more. Government shutdowns have never polled well for the responsible party, almost always the Republicans. The longer term damage has been minimal because the shutdowns have never occurred within close proximity to an election. It should be interesting to see the impact of one a month prior to a presidential election.
