I hate to ruin a good conspiracy theory, but that was not the ref who missed the call. Watch the reply and look at the official on the baseline… looking right at the play.

 

He was right on top of it. Unreal.
I am convinced that if Pullin doesn’t regain his balance, but instead… falls… that whistle is blown.

 

He had one foul call where he was completely blocked by the alleged contact. Don’t care if it was or wasn’t he completed manufactured the call in his own mind.

We 100% should have not given up 100+ points but that game winner is tough to swallow. I keep seeing the clip making the rounds as a great game winner and everytime all I can see is a huge push off.

 

Unfortunately, everyone besides Gator fans will say stop crying. Colorado fans are ecstatic and couldn’t be happier. The more we complain, the more they’ll enjoy it. Such is sports.

 

yeah— considering how the game went, I’m sure he had his share of botched calls. I’m not disputing that.

i wasn’t meaning to suggest a flop. I think he actually nearly fell. And if he had… I think they gotta blow the whistle.

 

Yes if he fell they might have called it, but if this season has taught us anything…we weren’t getting the call in that situation…especially with 3-4 seconds left. We didn’t get those push-off offensive foul calls all year, it was ridiculous how shitty reffing has been against us….i thought the NCAAT might be a little different but this was as bad as any. Clearly the mob doesn’t like us

 

Yeah - I’ve tried to think about the officiating, and whether or not it’s just “bad”; or truly more bad against us. it’s hard to be unbiased when contemplating that question, but I tend to think it may be the latter.
The question then becomes… why?

 

How many times did we see Sears bowl into pullin so hard he nearly fell backwards with no call in the Bama games? All the while Condon's head has been used as a punching bag. I don't believe refs are generally against one particulR school but the calls this year have been perplexing very often. The question remains though, why? Is it style of play? Some other subconscious contributor?

 

Not the only damning video evidence about today's officiating -- more on social/X including one truly bogus one vs. Clayton. I usually don't go in for crabbing about the refs as it often cuts both ways but this seems a bit much. ... And I don't feel a bit better having posted!

 

Yes that is the question - why. Is it that we’re not good at selling the fouls, or other teams are, or something more sinister at work….which, elaborate conspiracies aside, maybe because of the pace we play, we are known as being easily disrupted by slowing the pace with more foul calls…much like when teams switch to zone against us
