That story was reportedly debunked, although I haven't seen the other video. Seems like Republicans would have tracked the guy down and gotten more information if they doubted his retraction.

Fact check: Video shows prankster not Antifa rep saying he was paid to protest at the Capitol

MAGA/QAnon nutjobs think J6 was fake, they think elections are rigged, they think school/mass shootings are staged, they think the news is fake, they think viruses/vaccines are hoaxes, they think George Floyd died of a drug overdose etc

But they believe the protests/riots by BLM/Antifa are 100% real.

I don’t doubt there is a fact checking article. Nothing about that video seems like a joke.

If he was paid, then I bet whoever paid him threatened him to come out and say it was a joke.

If you compare the texture and the color of the hoodie in the photo to the texture and color of the hoodie in the Twitter post…that could be the same hoodie.

Not going to argue over whether Floyd was a good guy or a bad guy. I think that is irrelevant here. I watched the beginning of the video in the OP.

    He:

    1) Paid with fake bills.
    2) Was drunk.
    3) He resisted police officers and did not cooperate with what they were asking.

So, officers had reasons to engage him.

He did say he could not breathe before he ever hit the ground. And that is when he wanted to lay on the ground. I, personally, would have let him do so at that point because he said he could not breathe. However, the man was also intoxicated, so it is hard to trust much of anything he was saying at that point. The officers interpreted that as further resisting. I think whatever killed him started before they ever laid a finger on him. I think what happened after that was bad judgment by the officers there. I don’t think they had intentions of killing him, but that is my opinion.

Not all cops are good cops and not everyone will care about where his knee was on that POS drug dealers neck.

Interesting . . . I've read quite a few times from the OP about Floyd being a "thug," "scum bag," and "druggie" but I've never read where he mentioned these actions. Wonder why :emoji_thinking:

That is an ironic comment given what DEI is doing to math in states like California. California democrats will render large swaths of the US population illiterate in math if what they are doing there spreads to the entire US.

The swath of people illiterate in math will still be much more intelligent than the swath of people who believe George Floyd died of a drug overdose.

I get it. You measure intelligence by conformity to your party’s talking points and positions as laid out by the MSM.

I will respectfully allow you to hold such a position, and we’ll simply agree to disagree.

I measure intelligence by examining one's ability to not be a complete dumbass. Unfortunately there are many of these types roaming around in society, including those who believe George Floyd died of a drug overdose. Thanks for respecting my position.

I will admit that I have a tendency to believe in some conspiracy theories.

In this case, I believe that Chauvin killed Floyd on purpose to make sure he didn't tell anyone where the counterfeit money he was spending came from.

Both Floyd and Chauvin worked at the same night club. That is a known fact.

Floyd was caught spending counterfeit money. Known fact.

The night club they both worked at was burned down during the protests. Known fact.

    Seems rather suspicious to me.

Hmm interesting. This theory sounds much more plausible than the “he died of an overdose” narrative to absolve Chauvin of wrongdoing

Can we all agree that both of these guy, Chauvin and Floyd, are not pillars of society? With that being said, a racist cop does not have the right to kill a dirtbag counterfeit money using druggy. Enviro may be closer to the truth than anyone gives any credence too.

Me too, If someone is verbally begging to breathe wouldn't he have to be breathing?

Is it possible for somebody to have some percentage of reduced breathing to be able to express a difficulty breathing or should they only be able to express it on their final breath if at all?

You base your views of justice on what prison inmates think? Seriously? In your ideal world, would "trial by jury" be replaced by "trial by prisoners"? Who gets to act as judge--the most violent criminal? Should we just send criminal suspects into prison and see which ones get stabbed to find out who is guilty and who is innocent?
