This is what happens when you stack a decade of bad hires. At least we arent the crimies. If it wasnt for all the rain all of northern fl would be ablaze tonight

 

Billy won’t fight to save his own life.

 

He has to be gone before UCF… or they are going to troll us so hard with the whole “rural central Florida” thing… why didn’t he just come out in a Darth Vader suit or something…

 

This is the worst I’ve seen a Florida football team look in my lifetime. We are not good at anything. Muschamp had a defense, Mullen’s offense was fun to watch, even Mac was clutch in close games and almost never lost unless he was supposed to.

Napier has no fire. His offense is predictable and boring. His defense is slow, undisciplined, and constantly out-schemed.

Despite the gargantuan facility upgrades, the program has regressed every year under his leadership. That takes rare talent.

He is without a doubt the worst coach we have had in my life time and I’m in my mid 30s.

There is not one beneficial reason to keep him past tomorrow. Not one. An interim coach could light a fire under this team it has no semblance of currently.

 

Time to get it over with and move on. The mystique is completely gone from the Swamp. Our fans don’t want to hang around to watch this painful product on the field, and opposing players don’t even care much when they win here anymore.

Why wait?

 

I mean, he’s trying. He made the basement comment. He wants his buyout but I suppose it’s not that simple. He has to make it appear like he’s trying.

 

If they don’t fire him tonight or tomorrow, then they’ll fire him next weekend provided he loses to Mississippi State.

 

Why wait? Because we have a lame duck AD to go with our lame duck HC, an interim President who doesn’t feel it’s ethical to fire/replace said AD, and mega-donors who don’t want to pay for AD/HC buyouts until the AD situation is rectified. It’s a complete mess.

So we might not have a choice but to wait.

All of this... what does this team do well?!!? It's not even fun to watch these games anymore. This dude is coaching like this job is his retirement program. Crazy

 

I’ll believe it when I see it. Let’s not forget the refs gave a&m that touchdown when they went up 20 to nothing. Could’ve been a different ballgame if it wasn’t for the effin refs.

 

Call me crazy, but we can beat UCF with the roster we have. We can’t beat them with Napier in charge. We need an interim, on the staff or from the outside, to give the team a spark. Something has to change because we shouldn’t look as bad as we did today.

We legitimately need to fire Napier for the sake of the upperclassmen to have a shot at a competitive season, if for no other reason at all. It’s insane that it has come to that but it has.

 

Is that the blue tequila? It looks tasty.

Funny thing is I drank scotch in college, tried some johnny Walker awhile back, didn't finish it.

 

Hard to disagree, but let's do some matching. What's the Scotch analog to Blanton's single barrel bourbon? We can go from there.

 

I would think Lagway would be more inclined to leave if Napier were to remain.

 

I think we have the talent to compete with most, we just can’t put it together.
